Summer 2021 Faculty Professional Development Webinar Series: Building Your Student Engagement Toolkit
Student engagement is a crucial component of the teaching and learning experience across all course delivery formats/modalities. Engaged students learn more and have improved focus and attention and could even have fun. The benefits are similarly felt by faculty.

In this 5-part Summer 2021 webinar series, “Building Your Student Engagement Toolkit,” we will examine the use of technology, research tools, and experiential learning to enhance student engagement and improve learning. We will look at the role of psychology on engagement through the lens of mental health and reflect on how our own identities influence our interactions with students and, thus, on their engagement.

By the end of the series, we will have used or practiced tools and skills to improve student engagement. We will build upon our toolkits to better support our students, colleagues, and ourselves.
